OSS-RBA and AHU records, together with any licence information a candidate supplies, show whether it holds a valid NIB and licensing consistent with its claimed distribution activity. The source and limitations of each record are noted, and access to private records is not assumed. These checks establish legal standing, which is necessary but far from sufficient.
Reach is the harder question. Indonesia’s geography means a candidate’s national coverage claim needs direct verification, and Java-only and national candidates can differ meaningfully in capability. Evidence of distribution beyond the head office, such as regional delivery arrangements or presence in stores outside Jakarta, is sought for the islands and regions in your brief.
Marketplaces add a further layer. Storefronts on Tokopedia and Shopee can show a candidate’s product range and activity, but they need checking: a storefront may belong to an unrelated reseller rather than the candidate, and online activity does not by itself prove physical distribution capability. Where a PT PMA candidate shares its filed investment reports (LKPM), they can add context on scale.
